Pinewoods Dance Camp

Pinewoods is a dance and music camp located between Long Pond and Round Pond in Plymouth, Massachusetts, on 25 acres (100,000 m2). It has multiple activity buildings and residential cabins which are occupied and used by visiting customers in the summer. Initially known as "Pine Tree Camp", it was founded in 1919 by Helen Osborne Storrow as the very first National Girl Scout Leadership Training School. In 1935 the name was changed to Pinewoods Camp. Helen Storrow died in 1944, and left the property to Lily and Rick Conant. The Country Dance and Song Society continues to run music and dancing educational programs for adults at Pinewoods.
